Gemini 4.2 backup image

This is my first attempt to build a DreamOS backup ! I'm not a fan of DreamOS ,

I'm not a fan of moding and saving the result into a backup ! but ... some curious

events pushed me into that direction !

What was the goal ?

- to start from last DreamOS FW

- to keep things as simple as possible

- to change the default HD skin into default FHD skin

- to install Multiboot Selector Plugin

- and make a Backup from OpenATV to be easier if

some drama hapen and must be restored !

- then i found the right Oscam ( thanks levi) , installed

and found it working fine ! and from GP4-feed using Addon

Manager I found the missing item ... Camd Manager Plugin

- now I have Oscam working and controlled

- now it was the moment for another backup ... just in case !

- the final step was to install some IPTV players ... a la mode !

the chosen were AJpanel witch was boring ! installed and

started without any problem ! and PlutoTV found in the same

GP4 feed !

- PlutoTV was installed without problems ! but my country does

not have a Region PlutoTV Server so ... I've borrowed the bouchet

created in OpenATV by PlutoTV, "instaled" in DreamOS and ...

items from Favorites "plutotv_at.tv" played smoothly ! what a relief !

- now was the moment of the final backup image !!!

I must admit that the image is performing surprisingly well !

boot fast , navigate smoothly thru menu , image and sound

are outsanding ! Oscam is doing well his job ! and IPTV is better

then in OpenE2 ... so at the end , was a good day !

Backup Dream One image for Merlin 5 DreamOS

Based o previous experience , it took me just over one hour

to produce a equivalent Merlin Backup ! Why I've do it ?

- Merlin has a lower charge over the DeamOS FW ! the

archive is ~95 Mb compared to 130 Mb at Gemini ! that

means the image will load faster !

- Merlin include from the beggining Camd support !
