Sinner, doping and Wada: Itia defends Jannik, "No preferential treatment"

The agency that had exonerated the world number one issues a new statement in defense of the athlete and his own conduct, going very hard against Wada: the details

No special treatment reserved for Sinner . The note published by the Itia (International Tennis Integrity Agency) makes it absolutely clear once again how clear and above suspicion was the acquittal of Jannik from the doping charges . The 23-year-old from San Candido in March had tested positive for Clostebol , an anabolic steroid banned by the World Anti-Doping Agency, but was cleared after a trial by the Itia itself which had closed the case deeming the athlete “not guilty and not negligent” .
